A collection of gradient map images that explore natural water textures and surreal colors.
The goal was to take something natural and expected and turn it into something unreal. Take water for example. We interact with it on a daily basis and it is all around us, but when you take its visual component and combine with surreal and unnatural colors, it becomes unrecognizable.
